Art during times of Corona

I have now been in what is called self containment for 17 days. Will goes for his walks, but does not stop to chat with anyone, he waves hello, and is happy when children say hello back. He reports on birds that he has seen. I ,on the other hand, due to my spinal stenosis, can't make it around the block without pain. I keep myself busy with projects, cooking, reading, both books and listening to Audible, I have a jigsaw puzzle I work on, and a knitting project . I haven't worked on watercolors in many years, but I had supplies stored, and even some that had never been opened. I've been too depressed to paint, and yet during the most depressing era of the corona virus , where I live in fear of the health of my family and the world, I have decided to try it again. Unlike people in history who have gone through similar trials , we still have the internet . I have decided to break through the depression and attempt to learn to watercolor once again, while documenting what it is like for someone who is 69, wife, mother, and grandmother, to experience the Corona Virus of 2020.
